Bawku, Ghana – According to reports from local authorities, six people were killed in a land dispute in Bawku, a town located in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
The dispute allegedly arose between two families over the ownership of a piece of land, which resulted in a violent clash between the two groups. The incident reportedly occurred on Monday, April 24th, 2023.
Reports indicate that the six people killed were all members of one of the families involved in the dispute. Five others were also injured in the clash and are currently receiving medical treatment.
