On Saturday, July 27, in Tamale, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will officially begin its campaign for the 2024 General Elections.
Party flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, his running mate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, and other high ranking officials, including as National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, and Council of Elders members, will be present at the function.
There will be attendance from NDC parliamentary candidates, members of parliament, and supporters.
Asiedu Nketia, the National Chairman, has stated that this year’s campaign will follow a distinct plan.
The NDC will also present its manifesto, which will include important proposals like eliminating ex-gratia, implementing a 24-hour economy, and exporting nurses to combat unemployment among healthcare professionals.
Flagbearer John Dramani Mahama is optimistic about the manifesto’s ability to spur socioeconomic growth.
