In a recent interview with well-known media personality Chude Jideonwo, Nollywood actress Iniobong Edo discussed her failed marriage and said she had second thoughts about being married in the first place.
The stunning actor wed American businessman Philip Ehiagwina on November 29, 2008, but the union lasted only five years before they split up in 2013.
Ini-Edo claimed during the interview that her family coerced her into the marriage and that she would only consider being married to the right guy.
“I regretted my choice to get married because it wasn’t just the right thing to do,” she stated.
The actress welcomed a child via surrogacy in 2021 and disclosed that she did it as a result of miscarriages.
“I decided on surrogacy because I’ve experienced a few miscarriages. And I simply gave up trying.
“I’ve never had a husband. So, whether or not I have a husband, I’m like, I want a kid for me. What additional choices would I then have? And I wanted that child to be my own. my hens. Fortunately, my eggs are fresh. That’s what I did.
