In Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful is running for reelection.

Ursula Owusu Ekuful, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West, has announced her plan to run for reelection a fourth time to continue serving the district in parliament.
As soon as the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) opens nominations, she intends to gather nomination forms and take part in the parliamentary primary.

The parliamentary primaries in seats with incumbent Members of Parliament are set for January 27, 2024.
Speaking to the media on Monday on the fringes of a Dansoman carnival in Accra, Owusu-Ekuful reaffirmed her commitment to leading the constituency’s future development.
“We are returning, and the 22nd of January is when our primaries will take place. Having witnessed the work we have done, I am excited to get the support of the people in this constituency. roads, educational institutions, law enforcement facilities, judicial buildings, employment prospects, small-loan financing for individuals in need, skill development, and slot acquisition. We have worked hard on behalf of this constituency.
“And I’m hoping that this constituency’s residents will approve of my continued representation of them so that we can keep growing this constituency,” she said.
