Kofi Adams is a listening leader, trust me, he will succeed at the Sports Ministry-Prof Sarpong

The Dean of Faculty of Health, Allied Sciences and Home Economics Education at University of Winneba (UEW) Professor Emmanuel Osei Sarpong has passed vote of confidence in Sports and Recreation Minister designate, Kofi Adams to succeed at the sector ministry.
President John Dramani Mahama confirmed Member of Parliament for Buem constituency, Kofi Adams as Minister designate for Sports and Recreation when announcing his last batch of ministers to be approved by parliament.
Kofi Adams, who is expected to go through vetting, will replace Mustafa Ussif, who served as Minister of Sports from 2021 under President Nana Akufo-Addo.
The 49-year-old is a boxing enthusiast and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with emphasis on Epidemiology of Parasitic Diseases.
He has a wealth of experience in both education and politics which will be essential ingredients needed to succeed at the Sports Ministry.
Speaking in an interview with Radio XYZ, certified coach and astute sports administrator Prof Emmanuel Osei Sarpong threw his support behind Hon Kofi Adams to succeed at the Sports Ministry.
“I have known Hon Kofi Adams for a while, he is diligent in his work and how he does his politics makes me confident that, he will do the job and do it well at the sports ministry.
“I am saying this because, he listens to advice and is always open for ideas and initiatives from people around him.
“So I believe that, these traits will make him succeed at the sports ministry. “ Prof Osei Sarpong stated.
The UEW associate Professor however admonished, Kofi Adams cannot do the job so all stakeholders must come on board to help him succeed.
“Kofi Adams cannot do it alone that’s why he needs people around to make his work easier at the sports ministry” Prof Osei Sarpong added.
