Level 100 student commits suicide over poor exam results

A 24-year-old first-year student at the University of Education, Winneba, named Solomon Obeng, tragically took his own life yesterday morning. Obeng, pursuing a Bachelor of Basic Education degree at the university’s North Campus, was discovered hanging in an unfinished building near his private hostel in Abasraba, Winneba, around 4:30 a.m. Neighbors made the grim discovery. Although no specific reason was given for his actions, university sources suggested it might be related to Obeng facing expulsion due to failing three subjects, a policy that mandates expulsion from the institution. The police are currently investigating the incident. Additionally, a military officer named Corporal Fred Nasrame is alleged to have committed suicide after killing his wife, Corporal Antoinette Agbagba, both of whom were found deceased in their Michelle Camp residence. The investigation into this matter is also underway.
