In advance of this December’s polls, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has formally begun its 2024 election campaign. The gathering of important figures and party mainstays took place on Saturday, July 27, at Tamale Jubilee Park.
Party members assembled to hear several speakers share the NDC’s vision for the nation. The occasion demonstrated the party’s resolve to deal with the urgent problems facing the country and offer a comprehensive plan for the future.
The last person to speak to the assembly was NDC flagbearer John Mahama, whose speech served as the event’s centerpiece.
Mr. Mahama attempted to connect with the people and win their support by outlining the party’s policies and plans in his speech.
John Mahama urged the NDC supporters to continue their door-to-door campaign in various areas, saying, “On this occasion as the flagbearer of the NDC, I declare the NDC campaign duly and officially launched.”
With his speech, John Mahama formally ushered in a heated election season.
The party emphasized that it was prepared to run in the elections and that it was determined to steer the nation in the direction of progress and development.
