NDC flagbearer race: Mahama picks number one slot on ballot

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential primaries have ended, with former President John Dramani Mahama taking the top spot on the ballot.

Former Kumasi Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) Kojo Bonsu and former Finance Minister Dr. Kwabena Duffuor took the second and third spots, respectively.

In an interview with the media, Edward Doe Adjaho, Chairman of the NDC Vetting Committee, stated that the balloting took place following the successful vetting of the three candidates.

Ernest Kwaku Kobeah, the fourth candidate, withdrew from the race before voting began.

The Presidential and Parliamentary primaries for the NDC are scheduled for May 13, 2023.
