NPP will go into opposition with Bawumia as flagbearer and I won’t allow that – Ken Agyapong

The Vice President, according to him, cannot defeat John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), according to party leaders.

If Bawumia were to become the party’s flag bearer, the NPP would probably face opposition. He stressed his intention to oppose any moves that would force the NPP into opposition as he maintained that the party should steer clear of such a scenario.
In the Ashanti region, 47 MPs have been frightened as a result of one vice president position, he continued. They are pressuring everyone because they want the vice president position despite having promised 7 of the Ashanti regional MPs for the vice president’s positions.

“One vice president, seventeen people are vying for the position, and because of that, they have been blinded, they know they will lose, because how can the vice president defeat Mahama?” he continued.

 

It is impossible based on all of his statements. However, they want us to form an opposition because they are greedy and self-centered, and I will fight against that.

Kennedy will compete for the position of flagbearer alongside Dr. Bawumia, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and Francis Addai-Nimoh.
