Policeman killed in bullion van robbery at Ablekuma

A tragic incident occurred in Accra at Ablekuma Fanmilk, where a police officer lost his life during a daylight robbery targeting a bullion van. Disturbing videos of the incident have surfaced, showing courageous members of the public rescuing the wounded policeman from a pickup truck. The officer’s name tag identified him as Amoah.

According to reports, the robbery took place when the bullion van, bearing registration number GT 1254-10, made a stop at a fuel station. The reasons behind this unexpected stop remain unclear. Fortunately, the driver of the van managed to escape unharmed during the attack.
