There’s a good reason why the colors are so stunning.You wouldn’t think that Porsche would have a long history in Thailand, but the news about the 911 Carrera GTS 30 Years Porsche Thailand Edition highlights that fact.The limited-edition 911 Carrera GTS is available in seven hues, each representing a different day of the week in Thai culture. Porsche asserts that in Thailand, the day of the week a person is born is just as significant as the date, and in the past, Thai people would dress according to the color of the day.These colors are matched by the seven Paint to Sample colors that Porsche offers for these special editions.The Porsche colors were used to represent the days of the week:Monday (Yellow) is Signal Yellow; Rubystar (Pink) is Wednesday (Green) is Signal Green; Pastel Orange (Pastel Orange) is Thursday (Blue) is Riviera Blue; Ultraviolet (Purple) is Saturday; Fire Red (Red) is Sunday; and Signal Yellow (Red) is Monday. The 20- and 21-inch Turbo S center lock wheels that come standard on the GTS are finished in a one-of-a-kind two-tone combination of black and the selected exterior color. The Porsche crest adds a touch of color to the black brake calipers. A “30 Years Porsche Thailand Edition” plaque can be found on the B-pillars, and the red, white, and blue colors of the Thai flag are painted on five slats on the rear decklid.The seats feature Black corduroy inlays and seat piping in Pebble Grey, and the interior trim pieces are finished in the exterior color. Finally, each headrest is stitched with a distinctive anniversary logo.A one-of-a-kind “Inspiration Car,” hand-painted in each of the seven colors, was displayed by Porsche to commemorate the launch of the special edition.
