Shatta Movement, Bhimnation, and Sark Nation, according to Baba Sadiq, are harmful to the entertainment business.

In the developing Ghanaian entertainment sector, media entrepreneur turned politician Sadiq Abdulai Abu, sometimes known as Baba Sadiq, has referred to fan bases as a toxic entity and expressed concern for the potential detrimental effects they may have on music promotion.
The former CEO and creator of 3Music Networks believes that while friendly online teasing between fans is common and encouraged, going too far can harm an artist’s reputation and have an impact on the entire business.
Baba Sadiq said the following in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM:
The competitive nature of fan army chatter reached an absurd pitch at one point. I mean, banter between supporters of various hobbies is acceptable; we do it in sports like football. However, it presents questions when it gets very poisonous.
Shatta Wale’s Shatta Movement Fans, Stonebwoy’s Bhimnation, and Sarkodie’s Sark Nation are the most well-known fan groups in Ghana that are always engaging in both constructive and destructive online conversation.
Some online users take exception to this statement and accuse the 3Music Awards chairman of being callous and unthankful because much of his income came from votes from these same Fanbases.
