Stonebwoy, the reigning Telecel Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year, completed a three-year degree at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
After pausing his studies to focus on his music career, the artist returned to school in 2021.
He attended his graduation ceremony on Friday, July 26, which took place on the grounds of GIMPA. Stonebwoy earned a bachelor’s degree in public administration with a second-class upper division.
GH Hyper posted videos to Instagram that feature Stonebwoy, his wife, their two children, and a few members of his team attending the graduation ceremony in style.
His family celebrated his success at home with a party following his most recent exam.
This accomplishment follows his 2021 return to the classroom after he left the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA) early to pursue a career in music. At UPSA, he was majoring in business administration.
Dr. Louisa even bought the entrance documents for Stonebwoy, as he has previously stated, and pushed him to return to school.
Stonebwoy’s enthusiasm for public administration, a sector he feels is essential for advancing public welfare, has driven his career at GIMPA.
